It is `high season´ for varicose veins treatments!

Nevertheless, Dr. Alexander Flor conducted another workshop for the ESCVS, The 61st International Congress of The European Society for Cardiovascular and Endovascular Surgery.

It took place 25th to 28th of April 2012 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. You may find further Information here.

Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik is the main congress venue where most lectures were held. The Exhibition Area was in Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik Hotel. Have a close look at the map.

Accordingly to the workshop for the *12th European Venous Forum* earlier in 2011, Dr. Flor shared his knowledge on working with the ELVeS® RADIAL Faser.

It has been a great success and and Dr. Flor was very pleased about the professional exchange with his international colleagues!

Prof. Dr. Flor will lecture on “Surgical treatment of Thrombophlebitis” on Friday, 16th of March and on the subject “How do I achieve good cosmetic results in Phlebology?” Saturday, 17th of March.

The American College of Phlebology´s 25th Annual Congress was a big success. Prof. Dr. Flor spent a very exciting time in Los Angeles and he didn´t miss the opportunity for professional exchange with experts such as M.D. John Mauriello, The Cardiovascular & Vein Center of Florida, Prof. Dr. med. Eberhard Rabe, President of “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Phlebologie” as well as with M.D. Ted King, Vein Clinics of America, a leadindg vein care subsidiary of IntegraMed America, Inc.

Dr. King had presented a principal study at the 20th Annual Congress of the American College of Phlebology and it was selected as part of the most significant advancements in the treatment of varicose vein disease.

Last but not least there is to mention Ms. Dr. Tanja Ebanks who is not only a specialist in treatment of spider veins and hand veins, but she currently is also dealing with breast problems such as cysts, fibroadenomas or even managing breast cancer on Cayman Island.

Dr. Alexander Flors visit to Hawaii was a spectacular event. He has been meeting MD Robert Kistner and his staff and Dr. Flor had the great opportunity to participate at Straub Clinic & Hospital Vascular Center.

Before going to the American College of Phlebology · 25th Annual Congress, Dr. Flor will visit the Kistner Vein Clinic of Hawaii located in Honolulu.

The Kistner Vein Clinic was developed to provide current treatment options for varicose veins, spider veins, and other disorders of the veins. Dr. Kistner’s vascular surgery career began in 1966 when he was invited to join the Straub Clinic as the first trained specialist in peripheral vascular surgery in Hawaii. He has been a contributing member of multiple vascular societies in the United States, and served as President of several local, regional, and national surgical societies.

Dr. Flor is very much looking forward to meeting MD Robert Kistner for professional exchange on varicose vein disorders.
